About Bharat Seats Ltd
Bharat Seats Limited (BSL) was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on March 06, 1986.
The Company is a joint venture of Suzuki Motor Corporation- Japan, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. and M/s Rohit Relan and Associates for the manufacture of complete seating system and interior component for the automotive and surface transport.
The Company's production plants are located in Haryana and Gujarat.
BSL, which is the pioneer in car seat manufacture in the organised sector, incorporated many design and raw material improvements in products to comfort and safety aspects of driving.
With the launch of the Zen model, it has also gone ahead with the use of ficon free material as per EEC regulations.
Bharat Seats, which came out with a public issue in 1988 to set up its manufacturing facilities, is the only ancillary unit of MUL to meet the latter's requirement of seat sets for cars, the Gypsy, the Omni and the Zen.

Suprajit Engineering Limited was incorporated on May 24, 1985 as a private limited company and was converted into public limited company in June, 1995, promoted by K Ajith Kumar Rai.
The Company is engaged in the business of manufacturing of auto components consisting mainly of control cables, speedo cables, auto lamps and other components for automobiles.
The company is one of the major suppliers to the original equipment manufacturers viz.
TVS Motors Ltd, Hero Honda Motors Ltd, Escorts Automotives Ltd, Kinetic Honda Motors Ltd, RHW India Ltd and Whirlpool Washing Machines Ltd. SEL's products are very well established with OEMs confirming to their quality standards.
To meet the continued increased requirement of the customers, the company increased the capacity from 24 lakh cables to 36 lakh cables, the cost of which was met by contribution from the promoters and their group.
