Bombay Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Limited, established by Nowrosjee Wadia on 23 August, 1879 is the flagship company of the Wadia Group, engaged primarily in the business of Real Estate Development, Polyester Staple Fibre and Retail.
Stylish linens, towels, home furnishings, leisure clothing, kids wear and a whole blissful range of other products are now available across 350+ exclusive Bombay Dyeing Retail or 2000+ Multi-brand stores.
The company's Bed, Bath & Coordinates retail business is operated under the Home & You brand. In real estate development business, the Company enjoys the benefits of two large contiguous land parcels with clear titles, giving it a significant advantage over other real estate players.
The two sites are strategically located and well connected with the commercial hub of Central Mumbai and equidistant from the commercial hubs of South Mumbai and Bandra-Kurla Complex.

LWS Knitwear Limited, belonging to the LWS Group of Ludhiana, was incorporated as a Private limited company in May 1989.
The company promoted by Girish Kapoor and Sunish Sunda, became a Public Limited Company in April 1991.
The Company is engaged into manufacture of hosiery goods/knitted cloth/garments. From trading in hosiery, the company, in 1994, started manufacturing lambs wool and angora blended yarn of 16 mm count at an installed capacity of 120 tons per annum; which are used in the manufacturing of hosiery knitwear.
It came out with a public issue in April 1994 to part-finance the project of setting up an unit in Ludhiana, Punjab.
The Company installed some new machines during the period FY 2015-16. Knitted fabric is a textile that results from knitting, the process of inter looping of yarns or inter meshing of loops which may be used as for garments for men, women and children.
