Cantabil Retail India Limited was incorporated on February 09, 1989 as a Private Limited Company as 'Kapish Sales Private Limited'.
Initially, the Company was in the business of wholesale of garment accessories.
On May 15, 1995, the name of the Company was changed from Kapish Sales Private Limited' to Kapish Products Private Limited.
On March 05, 2009, the Company name was changed from Kapish Products Private Limited to Cantabil Retail India Private Limited.
Subsequently, on August 26, 2009, the Company was converted into Public Limited Company and the name was changed to Cantabil Retail India Limited. Cantabil Retail India is a New Delhi based apparel manufacturer and retail discount outlet company.

About Modern Threads (I) Ltd

Modern Threads (India) Limited was incorporated in August, 1980 and was jointly promoted by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) and H S Ranka for manufacturing industrial yarn and sewing thread.
Since then, Company has diversified into the manufacture of synthetic blended grey, dyed and fancy yarn. Modern Woollens was started in 1973 as a unit for spinning carpet yarns.
It commenced the business in January, 1982 at the plant located in Raila, in Bhilwara District of Rajasthan.
Very soon, it occupied the slot of the largest manufacturer of carpet yarns in the organized sector.
In 1987, Modem Woollens diversified into manufacturing of all wool and wool-blended worsted yarn in India. In 1989, Company diversified info manufacturing of wool tops and doubled the production capacity of all wool and wool blended worsted yarn in 2006.
