About CLC Industries Ltd

CLC Industries Limited (Formerly known as Spentex Industries Ltd), a RP Goenka Group of Company, was incorporated in Nov.'91.
CLC Industries was promoted by CESCON and KEC International to set up a 100% EOU to manufacture combed cotton yarn at Baramati, Maharashtra.
To part-finance the cost of this project, the company made a Rs 8.8-cr public issue in Nov.'93.
The estimated cost of the project, as appraised by ICICI, was Rs 54.81 cr. The company produces combed cotton yarn of 32s (hosiery), 40s and 40s (hosiery) count which is used in the manufacture of cloth and hosiery.
The company exports its yarn to various countries in west Europe, south-east Asia, the US, west Asia and the Caribbean Islands.

Ventura Textiles Limited was formerly incorporated as 'Vijay Tubes & Cones Private Limited' as a Private Limited Company in November, 1970.
The name of the Company was changed to 'VTC Industries Limited' in May, 1994 upon the conversion of status to Public Limited Company and thereafter to 'Ventura Textiles Corporation Limited' and again to 'Ventura Textiles Limited' in January, 2005.
The Company is presently engaged mainly in the business of manufacturing of Textiles consisting of Fabric and Yarn. The company came out with its initial public offering in Oct.'94, aggregating Rs 1.13 Cr to part-finance the capital by setting up a 100% export-oriented textile weaving unit.
The total cost of the project was Rs 9.3 cr.
The company entered into a marketing tie-up with Kidarnath Kishanchand (a division of JCT) for its entire production.
