DC Infotech and Communication Limited was originally formed as Partnership firm as 'DC Infotech' via a Partnership Deed dated April 01, 1998 at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Further the Firm was converted into Public Company as 'DC Infotech and Communication Limited' on January 15, 2019 vide Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Central Registration Centre.
The Company commenced its business on February 18, 2019.
At present, it operates in two broad segments covering Products, Solutions and other services pertaining to IT networking, security and unified communication solutions. The Company started its journey from distribution-based business.
However, over a period of time, the Company from distribution-based business to Value Added Distribution of Information Technology products, Networking, Security, surveillance, wireless, broadband, digital signage, firewall's, desktop virtualization, power solutions and other solutions like network performance, digital performance, cloud security, enterprise security, etc.

About HCL Infosystems Ltd

HCL Infosystems Limited was initially incorporated in 1986 as HCL Limited.
The name of the Company was thereafter changed from HCL Limited to HCL Hewlett-Packard Limited in 1991 and further to HCL Infosystems Limited in 1997.
The Company is primarily engaged in annual maintenance contracts related to Enterprise Distribution Customers. In May 1986, the company took over Hindustan Computers, Hindustan Reprographics, Hindustan Instruments and Indian Computer Software Company.
During the year 1987-88, HCL Employees Investment Co Ltd and HCL Finance & Investment Ltd became the subsidiaries of the company. In April 1991, the computer entered into a joint venture agreement with Hewlett-Packard Company of USA to align the computer operations of both companies in India.
During the year 1991-92, Hewlett-Packard Company acquired 26% equity stake in the company.
