Dynavision Limited was incorporated in 1973 as a Joint Sector Public Limited Company with participation of M/s.
Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (TIDCO) and the Private Promoter, Mr.P. Obul Reddy.
The Company started commercial production of Black & White TVs in 1975 and CTVs in 1982 under 'Dyanora' brand name.
Since 1994, the Company was assembling Color Television Sets (CTVs), Audios and Videos for M/s.Thomson Consumer Electronics India Limited on contract manufacturing basis.
It has its manufacturing facilities at Kottivakkam, Chennai.
In 1993-94, to reduce the overhead and administrative expenses, service operations of the company was entrusted to Teedee Electronic Services Company (South), a partnership firm.
About Phoenix International Ltd
Incorporated as a private limited company in December, 1987, Phoenix International Limited (PIL) was converted into a public limited company in Jun.'88.
It was promoted by D N Kalsi and Ajay Kalsi.
PIL came out with a public issue in Apr.'94 to part-finance the setting up of manufacturing facilities for 8,40,000 pairs of synthetic footwear (sport shoes) at Ghaziabad.
The Company is in the business of leasing out buildings and is a manufacturer and supplier of Shoe Uppers in Chennai, India.
PIL has signed an agreement with Reebok International, US & UK, to manufacture and supply shoes under its brand name.
For this purpose, PIL is implementing a Rs 130-cr project to manufacture 60,00,000 pairs of shoes per annum for which IFCI has already sanctioned a loan.
