In year 1972, Patel-Volkart Limited was amalgamated with the Company with effect from June 30, 1972 and the name was changed to Gokak Patel Volkart Limited on December 31, 1973.
In 1992, Forbes Campbell & Co Ltd was amalgamated with the Company and the name of the Company was changed to Forbes Gokak Limited on September 28, 1992 and was further changed to Forbes & Company Limited on October 25, 2007. Forbes & Company Limited is one of the oldest companies of the world that is still in existence.
The company operates with a diversified portfolio comprising Engineering, Industrial Automation, Consumer Durables (Water and Air Products), Chemical Tankers and Real Estate.
Forbes & Company is part of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group.

RDB Real Estate Construction Limited was incorporated on July 27, 2018 as a Private Company limited by shares in West Bengal under the name and style of 'Baron Real Estate Private Limited'.
The Company was subsequently converted into a Public Company limited by shares and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was given by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal on September 17, 2018.
Later, the Company name was changed to 'RDB Real Estate Construction Limited' and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation upon change of name was issued by the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal on January 30, 2019.
The Company is mainly engaged in the business of Real Estate. The Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal, Kolkata Bench vide its order dated May 21, 2024 has approved the Scheme of Arrangement between the Company and RDB Realty & Infrastructure Limited, where the Realty Business Undertaking of the Company has been transferred to and vested with the Company effective from October 1, 2022.
