In 2024, the Scheme of Arrangements involving the Demerger between Mahalaxmi Rubtech Limited (MRT); Mahalaxmi Fabric Mills Limited (MFML); and the Company and their respective Shareholders and Creditors was implemented, where the Traditional Textile Processing Division at Narol, Ahmedabad and Wind Power Division of MRT along with existing investment of MRT in its Wholly Owned Subsidiary Company namely Mahalaxmi Exports Private Limited was vested into MFML. Secondly, the Trading Textiles Division of MRT was demerged into the Company w.

About Weizmann Ltd

Incorporated in 1985, Weizmann Limited is engaged in the business of Textiles.
It initially engaged in a host of diverse activities - finance, textiles and exports and further diversified into financial operations in 1994 offering merchant banking and portfolio management services other than leasing, hire purchase, ICD, bill discounting and other activities. In 1995, Weizmann set up a wind farm at Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh, with an installed capacity of 3 MW. The company has diversified into wind turbines by entering into a joint venture with NedWind Rhenen, Netherlands to set up the project to manufacture, assemble, install and sell wind turbine generators.
