Honda India Power Products Limited (Formerly known as Honda Siel Power Products Limited) was incorporated in September, 1985 as a Joint Venture.
Earlier it was called Shriram Honda Power, promoted by Honda Motor Co, Japan, and Shriram Industrial Enterprises.
In 1998-99, it changed its name to Honda Siel Power Products Limited and again changed to Honda India Power Products Limited on May 24, 2020.
Honda Motor, Japan, holds a 66.67% stake in the company.
The Company is primarily engaged in manufacturing and marketing the portable gensets, water pumps, general purpose engines, lawn mowers, brush cutters, tillers and marine engines.

RTS Power Corporation Limited, formerly known as Bhanwarlal Bhutoria Limited was incorporated in December, 1947.
The Calcutta-based RTS Power Corporation became a Public Limited Company in 1984 and changed the present name in January, 1994.
It came out with maiden Public Issue in August, 1985 and was promoted by Sumermal Bhutoria.
The main business of Company is manufacturing and selling of Power and Distribution Transformers, Cables, indispensible equipment for generation, transmission and distribution of electricity and generation, supply and sales of Wind Power.
