Julien Agro Infratech Limited was initially incorporated as 'Silverpoint Infratech Limited' on March 18, 1997.
The Company later on, changed the name to 'Julien Agro Infratech Limited' from 'Silverpoint Infratech Limited' on August 25, 2023. The Company is presently engaged in the business of providing land development, construction services and other related services for civil & structural construction and infrastructure sector projects.
Initially, the Company was incorporated with the object of trading.
It started construction activities in FY 2007-08. The Company was initially promoted by Mr. Pawan Murarka and Mansukh Baid.
The current Promoters, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Drolia, Mr. Mohan Lal Sureka, Saffron Vinimay Private Limited and Shivmangal Commercial Private Limited acquired the Company on April 15, 2010.

Tai Industries Limited was incorporated in 1983 as Tashi Agro Industries Private Limited and converted into a Public Limited company.
The name of the Company was changed to Tai Industries Limited and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation consequent to change of name was obtained from Registrar of Companies, West Bengal.
It was set up, to market the agro based and mineral products During 1996-97, the company obtained dealership/distributorship of Hindustan Lever Ltd and other reputed multinationals.
The company is also looking into the possibilities of having production centre in western India to meet stiff competition in the market.
The company is acting as an independent agent of Bhutan Ferro Alloys Ltd for sale of ferro silicon. The first C3 store was opened on 2 January 2004 at Kolkata while the second store was opened on 5 June 2005 at Salt Lake, Kolkata.
