  • The Company changed its name from Kirloskar Engines India Limited to Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited effective June 2, 2010.
  • The Company was incorporated with an object of carrying on the business of manufacturing, trading or dealing in engines, engine spares, pumps, generating sets and oils used therein, bimetal bearings, bushes and bimetal strips. As per the Scheme of Arrangement between the Company and the erstwhile Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited, the demerged undertaking of the erstwhile Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd (now known as Kirloskar Industries Ltd) was vested with the Company retrospectively with effect from April 1, 2009 and the said Scheme became effective from March 31, 2010.

  • Windsor Machines Limited was erstwhile incorporated as 'Windsor Engineering Limited' in May, 1963.
  • The Company's name was changed to R H Windsor Limited in 1964 and again to Klockner Windsor Limited in 1986 and further to DGP Windsor India Limited in 1994.
