About KM Sugar Mills Ltd

KM Sugar Mills Limited was originally formed as a partnership firm known as Kamlapat Motilal at Kanpur in the year 1942.
Led by the Promoters, Singhanias and Jhunjhunwalas, later on, the Company got incorporated in 1971.
In 1971, the Firm was converted into a Private Limited Company in the name of K M Sugar Mills Pvt Ltd. In the year 1979, Singhanias transferred their stake in the company to Jhujhunwalas.
In the year 1974, the company became a deemed public company.
On April 20, 2005, the Company was again converted into a public limited company. Presently, the Company is engaged in the manufacturing and crushing of sugar.

About Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Ltd

Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Limited (KSCL), was incorporated on 7 November, 1960 with a unit in Tamil Nadu.
The Company commenced its commercial production from 17.01.1963 and is engaged in the fields of Sugar, Distillery, petrochemicals, drugs, etc.
Kothari Sugars, the pioneers in manufacturing of sugar, now has two sugar units in Tamil Nadu one at Kattur and another at Sathamangalam village.
It operate in two subsidiaries. i.e Kothari Biotech Ltd and Kothari International Trading Ltd. In addition to sugar manufacturing, Kothari Sugars has facility for co-generation of power, production of industrial alcohol from molasses and bio-compost from press mud and distillery effluents.
The products comprise of Polybutenes, Para Nitro Chlorobenzene (PNCB) and Ortho Nitro Chlorobenzene (ONCB), etc.
