Company is a global player and one among the 3 manufacturers of the entire range of textile machinery.
Presently, it is engaged into manufacturing and selling of textile spinning machinery, CNC Machine Tools, Heavy Castings and parts and components for Aerospace industry. The Company is helping to create the building block of textile super power, it manufactures equipment to support all textile processes from bale plucking, mixing, cleaning, carding and spinning and also LMW has diversified into manufacturing of CNC machine tools.

Megatherm Induction Limited was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company as 'Megatherm Transmission & Distribution Private Limited' on October 22, 2010 with the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal.
The name of the Company changed from 'Megatherm Transmission & Distribution Private Limited' to 'Megatherm Induction Private Limited' dated September 23, 2015 and was subsequently, converted into a Public Limited to 'Megatherm Induction Limited' w.e.f.
December 20, 2022. The Company is engaged in manufacturing of induction heating and melting products by means of electric induction like induction melting furnace and induction heating equipment.
Besides induction melting & heating equipments the Company produces various up-stream & down-stream plant & machineries associated with steel melt shops such as, transformers, ladle refining furnaces, continuous casting machines, fume extraction systems etc.
