The company manufactures Die Casting Parts and high-class Surface Finishing parts for auto and consumer durable industry.

Rane (Madras) Limited was incorporated on March 31, 2004 as a public limited company as 'Rane Holdings Limited'.
The name of the company was changed to Rane (Madras) Manufacturing Limited from February 22, 2005.
In April 2005, the manufacturing undertaking of the erstwhile Rane (Madras) Limited got demerged and transferred to the Company with effect from July 1, 2004.
