About Modern Threads (I) Ltd

Modern Threads (India) Limited was incorporated in August, 1980 and was jointly promoted by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) and H S Ranka for manufacturing industrial yarn and sewing thread.
Since then, Company has diversified into the manufacture of synthetic blended grey, dyed and fancy yarn. Modern Woollens was started in 1973 as a unit for spinning carpet yarns.
It commenced the business in January, 1982 at the plant located in Raila, in Bhilwara District of Rajasthan.
Very soon, it occupied the slot of the largest manufacturer of carpet yarns in the organized sector.
In 1987, Modem Woollens diversified into manufacturing of all wool and wool-blended worsted yarn in India. In 1989, Company diversified info manufacturing of wool tops and doubled the production capacity of all wool and wool blended worsted yarn in 2006.

About Shantai Industries Ltd

Shantai Industries Limited, formerly known as Wheel and Axle Textiles Limited was incorporated on April 09, 1985, which subsequently changed to the present name 'Shantai Industries Limited' on May 5, 2016.
The Company had one industrial unit -Textile Mills till 1985.
The management of the Company was taken over by Sawlani Groups who presently are the Executive Directors of the Company.
The ownership of the Company was also taken over and the new promoters held about 75% of share capital of the Company.
The acquisition was done through the SEBI Takeover Regulations and the Offer for Sale got completed during FY2016. This Company was taken over by Sawlani Group in year 2015.
