About Modern Threads (I) Ltd

Modern Threads (India) Limited was incorporated in August, 1980 and was jointly promoted by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) and H S Ranka for manufacturing industrial yarn and sewing thread.
Since then, Company has diversified into the manufacture of synthetic blended grey, dyed and fancy yarn. Modern Woollens was started in 1973 as a unit for spinning carpet yarns.
It commenced the business in January, 1982 at the plant located in Raila, in Bhilwara District of Rajasthan.
Very soon, it occupied the slot of the largest manufacturer of carpet yarns in the organized sector.
In 1987, Modem Woollens diversified into manufacturing of all wool and wool-blended worsted yarn in India. In 1989, Company diversified info manufacturing of wool tops and doubled the production capacity of all wool and wool blended worsted yarn in 2006.

Shri Dinesh Mills Limited (SDML) is a company having composite textile mill with strong presence into the textile industry for more than 60 years; manufacturing worsted fabrics (menswear), paper makers felts and industrial textiles.
For International market, the Company has been manufacturing and exporting worsted fabrics to various overseas markets since last 30 Years.
Incorporated in 1935 in Vadodara, the Company is a name to reckon with in the world of woolen suitings It has also diversified into manufacture of paper-makers' felts, industrial fabrics and basic chemicals, electroplating, etc.
For felt, it has a technical collaboration with Albany International, Canada.
As a result of this technology, the company produces and supplies the most modern types of paper-makers' felts, asbestos felts and industrial felts.
