About Modern Threads (I) Ltd

Modern Threads (India) Limited was incorporated in August, 1980 and was jointly promoted by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) and H S Ranka for manufacturing industrial yarn and sewing thread.
Since then, Company has diversified into the manufacture of synthetic blended grey, dyed and fancy yarn. Modern Woollens was started in 1973 as a unit for spinning carpet yarns.
It commenced the business in January, 1982 at the plant located in Raila, in Bhilwara District of Rajasthan.
Very soon, it occupied the slot of the largest manufacturer of carpet yarns in the organized sector.
In 1987, Modem Woollens diversified into manufacturing of all wool and wool-blended worsted yarn in India. In 1989, Company diversified info manufacturing of wool tops and doubled the production capacity of all wool and wool blended worsted yarn in 2006.

Wires & Fabriks (S.A) Limited was originally incorporated as Spinning Accessories Private Limited, in March, 1957.
The Company converted into a Public Limited and changed the name to Wires & Fabriks (S.A) Limited in 1985.
The Company is engaged mainly in paper mill products.
Its product range includes Dryer Screens, Pulp Fabrics and Technical Fabrics. In 1963, at Jaipur, with German Machinery and Technology, the Company started manufacturing Technical Textile - Paper Machine Clothing, namely, Phosphor Bronze Wire Cloth for the Paper Industry.
Stainless Steel Wire Cloth was introduced in 1974.
