National Standard (India) Limited (Formerly known National-Standard Duncan Limited) was incorporated on August 20, 1962.
The Company attained a new change in name to 'National Standard (India) Limited' from National-Standard Duncan Limited in September, 2003.
At present, Company is engaged in Real Estate Development.
Prior to this, the Company manufactured bead-wire for tyres and other types of specialised wires.
It was formed and collaborated between National Standard Company, US, and Indian Agency House of Duncan Brothers & Co., Calcutta. The Wire Division is constructing a wire plant at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.

Sanmit Infra Limited was initially established as 'SMR Universal Softech Limited' in April, 2000 focusing on knowledge management in the area of development of HRD software, software training and HRD consulting.
