About Nova Iron & Steel Ltd

Nova Iron & Steel Limited was incorporated in 1986.
The company was promoted by Nova Magnetics, Nova Electro-Magnetics and Nova Steels, all belonging to R K Gambhir and G K Gambhir of the Nova group.
The Company is engaged in the manufacture of sponge iron and steel.
The company also provides product separation, screening, and storage facilities. During the year 1993-94, the company came out with a public issue of 5,27,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash to part finance their sponge iron project at Bilaspur, Madhya Pradesh. In July 15, 1994, the company inaugurated the sponge iron plant at Bilaspur.
In September 1994, they started trial production.

Sunflag Iron and Steel Company Limited is a prestigious unit of Sunflag Group was promoted by Sunflag UK. The Sunflag Group was founded by Satyadev Bhardwaj in Kenya in 1937.
The Company was incorporated in 1984 and is engaged in the business of manufacturing and sale of special steel rolled products having its manufacturing facility located at Bandara, Maharashtra. The plant comprises a 1,50,000 tonnes per annum Direct Reduction Plant, to produce sponge iron for captive consumption in the Steel Melting Shop.
This shop comprises a 50/60 tonnes ultra high power Electric Are Furnace with Eccentric bottom arrangement; a Ladle auto mould level controller and electromagnetic stirrer.
The billets produced at the steel melting shop are rolled at the Mannesmann Demag Designed ultra modern 18 stand Continous mill.
