About Rane (Madras) Ltd

Rane (Madras) Limited was incorporated on March 31, 2004 as a public limited company as 'Rane Holdings Limited'.
The name of the company was changed to Rane (Madras) Manufacturing Limited from February 22, 2005.
In April 2005, the manufacturing undertaking of the erstwhile Rane (Madras) Limited got demerged and transferred to the Company with effect from July 1, 2004.
In terms of the Scheme, the demerged company was renamed as Rane Holding Limited and the name of the company was changed from Rane (Madras) Manufacturing Limited to Rane (Madras) Limited with effect from May 19, 2005. Rane (Madras) Limited, a part of the Rane Group, is a manufacturer of Steering and Suspension Systems.
The Company operates under one division, namely components for transportation industry.

About Remsons Industries Ltd

Remsons Industries Limited (RIL) was earlier incorporated as Remsons Cables (P) Limited in 1971, becoming Remsons Industries Limited in late 1986 after going public.
It was promoted by Vishwa Prakash Harlalka and his family.
The Company is one of the major suppliers to the Automobile Manufacturers like Tata Motors, Hero Honda, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Piaggio, General Motors India, TVS Suzuki etc.
The Company is manufacturing automotive control cables, flexible shafts, push pull cables and gear shifter assembly.
It operate six manufacturing plants in India. The promoters came out with an open offer for the sale of equity shares at a premium of Rs 40 in May '95 for re-deploying the proceeds to meet the cost of modernisation and expansion.
