About Reliance Chemotex Industries Ltd
Incorporated in 1977 in Maharashtra, Reliance Chemotex Industries Limited (RCIL) is engaged in manufacturing and sale of Synthetic & blended Yarn.
The Company commenced as a small spinning mill that addressed the needs of apparel fabric manufacturers in 1979.
In 1982, it expanded the production capacity to 16,320 spindles.
The Company implemented a modernisation-cum-expansion programme to increase its capacity to 17,280 spindles.
It entered the capital market to part-finance this expansion.
It completed expansion programme and the commercial production started from Mar.'96.
To meet its Working Capital requirements the company issued 16% NCD of Rs.300 lacs to IDBI on a private placement basis.
About Shree Manufacturing Company Ltd
Shree manufacturing Company Limited was incorporated in November, 1976 to take over the assets and liabilities of Indian Copper Corporation Ltd. (ICCL).
ICCL was nationalised in 1972 by the Government of India and ICCL was paid a compensation of Rs 7.50 Crore.
Initially, the Company was engaged in investment business.
Subsequently, it set up a spinning mill with 15,840 spindle-capacity for the manufacture of synthetic blended yarn, in the Medak district of Andhra Pradesh.
It commenced the commercial production in April, 1984.
The Company issued 287000 12% Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs. 100/- each to ICICI Ltd., in lieu of outstanding term loan of 2.87 crores on private placement basis.
