About RPG Life Sciences Ltd

RPG Life Sciences Limited, formerly known as Searle India Limited, started in 1968 as a joint venture with GD Searle, USA. In 1993, GD Searle withdrew from India and sold its holdings to RPG Group.
The Company is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of Formulations (Finished Dosage Forms) and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). RPG Life Sciences Limited was incorporated on March 29, 2007 with the name 'RPG Pharmaceuticals Limited'.
During the year 2007-08, as per the Scheme of Arrangement, the Company acquired the Pharmaceuticals Business of Brabourne Enterprises Limited along with all assets and liabilities pertaining to that business with effect from April 2, 2007.
On February 13, 2008, the name of the Company was changed to RPG Life Sciences Limited. During the year 2008-09, the company increased the production capacity of Bulk Drugs and Chemicals from 62 tonnes to 71 tonnes.

Shelter Pharma Limited originally named as 'Shelter Pharmacy', was converted from a Partnership Firm 'M/s Shelter Pharma' to a Public Limited Company under the name 'Shelter Pharma Limited' on 12 October, 2007 with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat.
Company primarily focus in manufacturing of ayurvedic and herbal products with well-built presence in Human Pharma as well as Veterinary space. The Company was founded in 1965 by Mr. N. R. Gandhi, a well-known practitioner of Ayurveda and Unani healthcare systems.
Introduction of new generation has added zeal and ambition to the company resulting in reinvention of entire company.
Aggressive and bold strategic decisions taken by the management has put it on fast growth track. The Company started with a few products about decades back.
However, over a period of time, it has added products to portfolio through in-house R & D efforts backed by sound knowledge of Ayurveda.
