Samhi Hotels Limited was incorporated as 'SAMHI Hotels Private Limited' on December 28, 2010, as a Private Limited Company at Delhi and Haryana.
On conversion of the Company to a Public Limited on August 2, 2019, its name was changed to 'Samhi Hotels Limited' and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued by the Registrar of Companies , on August 16, 2019 in Haryana.
The Company is one of India's leading hotel owner and asset manager.
The Company is a hotel development and investment Group with focus on operating internationally branded hotels across key cities in the Indian sub-continent.
It has a current portfolio of 32 operating hotels comprising of 4,948 rooms across India.

About Velan Hotels Ltd

Incorporated as a Private limited company in March, 1990, Velan Hotels Limited (VHL) was converted into a Public limited company in Jun.'92.
It was promoted by Shri E.V. Muthukumara Ramalingam and his Associates.
The Company operate two hotels and four stand-alone restaurants and is presently engaged in the business of providing Hospitality Services including running restaurants with a bar for their Chain of Hotels. VHL had set up Hotel Greenfields in South Tirupur, Tamilnadu, at an estimated cost of Rs 5 Crore and commence commercial operations by Oct.'92.
Due to certain unavoidable reasons, the project was delayed and there was cost and time overrun.
The hotel commenced partial operations in Jul.'93.
