Saregama India Limited (Earlier known as Gramophone Company of India Limited) was incorporated in August, 1946 and taken over by the RPG Group in 1985 from EMI, UK. The Company was changed from 'Gramophone Company of India Limited' to 'Saregama India Limited' on December 16, 2000.
Company is engaged in manufacturing and sale of Music storage device viz.
Carvaan, Music Card, Audio Compact Discs, Digital Versatile Discs and dealing with related music rights.
It is also engaged in production and sale/ telecast/ broadcast of films/ TV Serials, pre-recorded programmes and dealing in film rights and organizing events. The Company is the most reputed audio entertainment company in Indian subcontinent.
It owns nearly 2,00,000 tracks created over the last number of decades.

About V R Films & Studios Ltd

V R Films & Studios Limited was incorporated as a Private Limited Company with the name 'V R Films & Studios Private Limited' on December 31, 2007.
The Company had taken over the running business of M/s Visual Reality, a proprietorship concern of one of its Promoter vide Business Takeover Agreement dated December 31, 2007.
Thereafter, it was changed to 'V R Films & Studios Limited' and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued by the Central Processing Centre with effect from March 11, 2019. The Company undertakes activities relating to Dubbing, Film Imports and Distribution.
The Company acquired foreign language films mainly from Hollywood and Chinese film industry and dub them in Indian Local language (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu etc.) and then distributed them theatrically or sub license to sub distributors across all licensed territories in all licensed languages including English.
