About State Trading Corporation of India Ltd

The State Trading Corporation of India Limited (STC) is a premier International trading company of the Government of India, and, was engaged primarily in exports, and imports operations.
The Corporation was set up in 1956 primarily with a view to undertake trade with East European Countries and to supplement the efforts of private trade and industry in developing exports from the country. The Corporation is registered as an autonomous company under the Companies Act, 1956 and functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.
The Corporation has played a key role in the Indian economy.
In the pre-liberalisation era, it acted as an arm of the Government of India not only to regulate foreign trade but also for intervention in the domestic market.

About Yuranus Infrastructure Ltd

Yuranus Infrastructure Limited, formerly known as Pankhil Finlease Limited was incorporated on 22nd February 1994 as a Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) with the object of carrying the business of Leasing, Hire Purchase, Financing, Trading, Merchant banking and Advisors to the Public Issue. The company came out with a public issue of 20,50,000 equity shares in Mar.'1996.
With the growth in the infrastructure and real estate field, the Company wanted to increase activities in the same sector and focus on the infrastructure and real estate sector as the main business activity.
And so, it changed the name to Yuranus Infrastructure Limited dated 17 April 2012 to carry out the new business purpose.
