About TCI Industries Ltd

TCI Industries Limited (TCIIL) was initially incorporated as Transport Corporation of India Limited in 1965.
Subsequently, the Company changed its name to TCI Industries Limited from Transport Corporation of India Limited vide fresh Certificate of Incorporation issued on 29th January, 1999 by the Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh.
It was promoted by P D Agarwal.
The Company is principally engaged in rendering services by providing space for film shooting, TV serials, advertisements and for corporate/social events. Initially, Company was rooted in the freight transportation and logistics industry before diversifying into real estate and textile trading.
The company diversified into car rental service in 1989, to set up a separate division- Wheels Rent-A-Car in collaboration with Hertz Internatioal, US.

Updater Services Limited was incorporated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu as Updater Services Private Limited' dated November 13, 2003 issued by the RoC. Thereafter, Company converted from a Private Limited to a Public Limited Company and name of the Company was changed to Updater Services Limited', via fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated March 24, 2022 issued by the RoC. Company is engaged in providing facility management services like integrated facility management services to various industries such as information technology, information technology enabled services, manufacturing, hospitality and other industries and catering services, which includes industrial catering, and services at food courts.
Integrated facility management services include housekeeping, staffing, production support, mechanical and electrical services, garden management, pest control and catering solutions.
