Mr. Sanjay Sethi has over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He founded Berggruen Hotels Private Limited in 2006 in collaboration with Berggruen Holdings, New York, and has previously served as the Chief Operating Officer for ITC Limited's Hotels Division, along with a 14-year tenure at the Taj Group of Hotels. He is actively involved in various industry forums advocating for reforms in the hospitality sector, notably championing the cause for obtaining industry status for hotels in Maharashtra. Additionally, he plays a significant role in the philanthropic initiatives of the K Raheja Corp Foundation, Sadhana Education Society, and S. L. Raheja Hospital, and drives several green initiatives for the group. Mr. Sethi holds a Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition from IHM Pusa, is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute, and completed a General Management Course in Business Excellence from IIM Bangalore. He has been recognized with the IHC Outstanding Contribution to the Hospitality Industry Award and the 'Hotelier of the Year 2022' Award at the Ace Alpha Awards 2022.
